Dow gains almost 4% following Gold window closing, Spina notes
• Dow Jones rallied nearly 4% after the Gold window closed, defying expectations of a decline
• GoldSeek's Peter Spina calls silver a strong buy as mining costs push AISC to $25-35/oz
• Black Mammoth Metals began Nasdaq trading and closed a C$24 million funding round
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rallied almost 4% after the closure of the Gold window, defying expectations of a share price decline. Peter Spina, CEO of GoldSeek.com, called this an early lesson for Dalio in how unpredictable markets can be when key monetary promises are withdrawn.
Spina recently flagged silver as a strong buy at current levels, pointing to higher mining costs that have pushed the all-in sustaining cost range to $25-35 per ounce. Separately, Black Mammoth Metals, which holds assets in the Western U.S., began trading on the Nasdaq and completed a C$24 million funding round — developments Spina cited as further evidence of market unpredictability.
